Hi there! My name is Dongyi He, and I am an graphic designer and illustrator based in New York City, originally from China.

During my childhood, I loved watching colorful and full-of-life characters in their worlds, whether it be cartoons, books, games, and more. The blends of bright colors, over-the-top antics, and humorous situations the characters find themselves enveloped my younger self. There was something so joyful about seeing how illustrators combined their storytelling with artwork to bring a sense of childlike wonder to each page. Since then, I have been filling up the pages of sketchbooks with my very own cast of characters! I love to recreate that sense of childlike wonder in my art, just like those same color and fun-filled illustrations I held in my hands as a kid.
